Education for Current Clients

A large part of our approach to estate planning centers around education.  We believe that our clients should have the opportunity to make informed decisions as they create and maintain their estate plans.  It is also important to us that "Helpers" are well informed as well.  We encourage our clients and their "Helpers" to use our Client Login feature often to have access to our latest materials and information about upcoming events.

Estate Planners for Life™  Member Events

We have made commitments to each of our clients that we will help them create and maintain an estate plan that really works.  It is necessary for us to provide and for our clients to participate in the special Estate Planners for Life™ events in order to achieve that goal together.  Below is a list of the events we hold each year for our Members, and a brief description.

  • Annual Client Meetings

Annual Client Meetings are held once a year to provide clients with a status of the law as well as the firm.  We encourage all of our clients to attend an Annual Client Meetings each year to learn about new developments in estate planning laws, and how they can impact their current plans.  This is also an opportunity for us to learn about changes in our clients lives that may also need to be taken into consideration while maintaining and updating estate plans.

  • Client Update Program: Red Book Meetings

All of our clients’ estate plans are updated every other year to address our clients’ changing needs and goals. This formal review process is also instrumental in keeping the plan current with the latest laws and estate planning techniques.

  • Back to Basics

Prior to our Client Update Program meetings we provide this "refresher course".  This meeting helps prepare our clients to take full advantage of our maintenance program.

  • Family Orientation Meetings

The Family Orientation Meetings are an opportunity for family members, beneficiaries, and "Helpers" to learn about the basics of estate planning as well as our process for creating estate plans that really work.  Many or our clients' families and helpers are thankful for the opportunity to learn about a future "role" they have been given in a loved one's estate plan, and also to learn about the goals that estate planning helps their loved one accomplish.
